A woman with glasses smiling outdoors, with red hair, wearing a white shirt and a necklace with a moon charm, against a background of green foliage.

I started Health Access Advocates because I needed exactly this kind of help for my own family — and I couldn't find it. I know what it feels like to sit across from an insurance denial letter and not know where to start, or who to call, or whether it's even worth fighting.

I've spent the past ten years doing advocacy work — but the most important qualification I bring to this work is that I've lived it. When I say I understand what you're going through, I mean that literally.

My focus today is entirely on gap exceptions — securing insurance coverage for vision therapy, neuropsychological testing, and ongoing therapy when no adequate in-network option exists. This is specific, technical work, and it's what I do every single day.

When you work with me, you can expect clear communication, honest updates, and someone who will not back down when an insurer says no the first time. You don't have to understand the insurance system. That's my job. Yours is to focus on what matters — your care, or the care of someone you love.
